Construction Estimator

*Duties will include:* * Taking off large multi-family apartment complexes, and housing communities using *Planswift*.
* Putting together price sheets using Microsoft Excel.
* Communicating via phone and email with customers and vendors.
* Writing up proposal using our Microsoft Excel template.
* Reading and evaluating blueprints and other construction documents.
* Thoroughly examining contracts to make sure everything is correct before finalization.
* Communicating with our construction crew to discuss discrepancies throughout the job.
*Skills Required:* * Proficient in Excel.
(Required) * Proficient in Word.
(Required) * Proficient in Outlook.
(Required) * Planswift takeoff software or any equivalent takeoff software.
(Required) * Professional communication skills.
(Required) *Skills Not Required But Preferred:* * Associates Degree not required but is a plus.
* Knowledge of Masonry and Stucco materials and assembly.
* Familiar with AIA documentation.
*Must* be willing to communicate with general contractors and superintendents in a professional manner.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.
