As a Lead Pipefitter of the Manufacturing Business Unit, you will assemble, layout, install & maintain pipe systems on process systems.
Process piping may include, but not limited to: pipe, flanges, supports, valves, gauges, pipe supports, and equipment.
Pipefitters may work in all aspects of construction maintenance.
Looking for Experienced Pipefitters: 5 years experience.
Experience with Gas Plant Manufacturing work a plus.
Ability to lead a team of up to 5 men.
Responsibilities:
-Read and interpret engineered drawings/blueprints to perform layout of processing package according to P & ID.
-Assemble and secure pipe, fittings, valves, and related equipment according to specifications.
-Operate a variety of tools to modify piping to specifications (Threader, Groover, Bender, etc.
.
)
-Repairing and maintaining pipe systems, supports, and related equipment.
-May perform other duties necessary to remove, install, or troubleshoot pipe, fittings, valves, and related equipment.
-Complying with relevant codes and regulatory standards.
-Prepare and maintain accurate work records of the project as requested by supervisor.
-Ascend and work at heights of 50+ feet.
Minimum Qualifications:
-5 years experience as a Pipefitter.
-Proven leadership skills.
-Excellent mechanical & troubleshooting skills.
-Strong attention to detail.
-Good communication and managerial skills.
-Ability to read and interpret blueprints and verify the completeness and accuracy of products.
- May be required to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs.
-Must be at least 18 years old, high school graduate or equivalent
-Must have a Valid Driver's License.
Background Check and Drug Test required.
