*POSITION OVERVIEW*: The *Entry Level Machine Operator* is responsible for operating a sander used to clean and smooth metal for the fabrication of our lifts.
The position will require someone who is willing to learn about our products and understand production processes.
Understanding the demands of the machine as well as machine operator safety is crucial.
The right person will be comfortable on their feet and using the sander to clean the material from the metal.
Understanding safety procedures and properly caring for the equipment is essential.
The ideal candidate will be a team-oriented individual with a positive attitude and a willingness to start in an entry level role with the opportunity for advancement.
*PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:*
* Adhere to all safety policies and practices, including but not limited to personal protective equipment (PPE)
* Inspect material that comes across the sanding table to be put into production
* Learning all materials as well as sizes and cuts of all the pieces of material that come through the production area
* Adhere to production schedule
* Read bill of materials to assemble the parts to build different products
* Move raw material to the saw with the assistance of
* Maintain a clean and orderly workspace co workers
* Perform other related duties as assigned
*EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS:*
* Must be 18 years of age or older
* 2+ years' experience in manufacturing environment preferred, general labor experience is a plus
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

* Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening
