We are seeking an Agricultural Fleet Mechanic to work on our Oasis farm in Canal Point, Florida.
You will get to:
- Examine the vehicle or equipment and discuss with the manager what's needed
- Plan the work process
- Remove, disassemble, repair and replace parts as needed; overhaul, rewire, adjust, and weld as necessary
- Fabricate equipment, tools and other items as needed within the nursery
What we need:
- College or university program certificate, OR 2-4 years related experience, OR equivalent combination of education and experience
- Working with and repairing all types of agricultural equipment, gas and diesel equipment/motors is required
- Some computer skills, to input work orders in the fleet software system
- Bilingual Spanish is helpful but not required
- Welding and light manufacturing experience a plus
This job will require you to stand and walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with your hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk and hear.
You will occasionally be required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
