Journeyman Electrician

Responsibilities: - Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial buildings - Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs - Ensure compliance with all relevant codes and regulations, including the NEC - Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as carpenters, to complete projects - Perform frame carpentry work as needed for electrical installations - Install and program logic controllers for automation systems - Handle low voltage systems, such as security and fire alarm systems Experience: - Journeyman/Journeywoman Electrician license required - Minimum of 5 years of experience as a commercial electrician - Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting electrical plans - Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components - Familiarity with logic controllers and their programming - Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical issues efficiently and effectively - Experience working on renovation projects is a plus - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
