Overview:
The Inventory Coordinator will work under the general direction of the Shipping Manager and will coordinate, document, and communicate the physical product counts of the various product lines produced by the Tyler Pipe foundry plant.
This job will primarily involve being outside and making counts and some computer work.

Responsibilities:
Coordinate physical product cycle counts by establishing, performing, documenting, and communicating the cycle count process to the shipping supervisor team while minimizing interruption to the established shipping schedule.
Perform "yard checks" when requested and as needed by counting and verifying physical product inventory on hand.
Assist with the annual physical inventory counts performed by the shipping department by planning and preparing vital documents and forms and making physical counts.
Move inventory both physically and electronically between plant and yard locations by coordinating the communication, scheduling, accounts receivables, and inventory processes for production, product purchases, and product returns, with the entire shipping department team.
Follow RMA processes both physically and electronically by detailing and returning product to its final disposition in either the product yard or scrapping the product per company procedures and entering RMA information in shipping department software.
Communicate known inventory discrepancies with sales and scheduling.
Coordinate and document new and repaired crates and pallets inventories used in shipping and inventory departments.
Effective communication with all team members including department Manager, Supervisors, and Shipping Coordinators as part of an efficient team.
Pick and pack customer orders, print packing slips and bills of lading, and process UPS shipments as required.
Learn and use the D365 Warehouse Management software to assist in the above duties.
Demonstrate a dedication to safety by wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) when entering and working in the plant.
Keep work area clean, safe, and orderly.
Complete other duties as assigned by Shipping Manager.
Qualifications:
Proficient in MS Office desktop apps, especially Excel.
Ability to operate a fork truck in all types of weather and plant locations.
Ability to accurately count and document large quantities of inventory products.
Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and always follow safety rules/procedures.
Excellent attendance and punctuality.
