Overview:
The Epoxy Production Supervisor will work under the general direction of the Director of Plant Operations and will supervise hourly team members engaged in the epoxy coating of various sizes of cast iron pipe using both manual and machine processes.

Responsibilities:
Supervising hourly personnel engaged in the safe operation of cast iron epoxy coating process.
Accurately collecting finished pipe and scrap counts produced by the Epoxy Finishing Department machines and processes.
Troubleshooting problems experienced in the epoxy coating process areas and makes recommendations regarding improved operations and production.
Monitoring and authorizing supervised hourly team members time in UltiPro for submission to payroll in a timely and accurate manner.
Understanding and following production schedules while controlling work hours and labor cost per ton.
Planning, prioritizing, and coordinating efforts to ensure an efficient and economical production rate.
Ensuring all safety policies and procedures are in place and being followed by team members under your supervision.
Recommends and assists in changing production methods and processes which will be more efficient and improve overall quality of epoxy coated cast-iron pipe.
Coordinate with the Maintenance Department in the inspection and repair of equipment and machinery to prefect production run times.
Effectively manage both new and long-term team members to ensure safety, training, quality, cultural, and production standards are met daily.
Demonstrate a dedication to safety by wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) when entering and working in the plant.
Keep work area clean, safe, and orderly.
Complete other duties as assigned by Director of Plant Operations.
Qualifications:
Intensive knowledge of pipe finishing, pipe molding, and epoxy coating operations is preferred but not required.
Four (4) or more years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
Secondary schooling in engineering field preferred but not required.
Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and always follow safety rules/procedures.
Excellent attendance and punctuality.
