Under the direction of the Branch Manager, the Counter Sales/Driver Associate assists customers with their purchases of plumbing products and industrial supplies and assists with delivering material to customers.
Provide customers with accurate and timely information regarding product availability, pricing and delivery.
Maintain a high level of product knowledge and attends all assigned product knowledge meetings.
Work and interact with all employees, customers and vendors in a way that models and supports the company’s values.
*Job Details* · Job Type: Full Time, temp to perm · Pay range $15 - $18/hour based on experience · Monday – Friday 7-4 or 8-5, must also be available Saturdays 8 -12 (to work alternating Saturdays) *Job requirements* · 2 years + plumbing experience or plumbing supply industry experience (plus but not required) · 2 years + retail sales experience · Professional and friendly · Desire to provide exceptional customer service and build business relationships · Ability to lift up to 50 lbs · Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check · Must have valid DL · Spanish speaking is a requirement *Duties and Responsibilities* · Assist customers on the sales counter - Driver material to customers · Process customer orders · Pull and load material for counter customers · Handle telephone orders and inquiries · Receive and put away stock · Maintain store cleanliness · Perform other duties as assigned by Branch Manager *Benefits* · Medical, dental and vision insurance · Profit sharing · 401K + employer match · Vacation/Sick/Holiday pay · Eligible to earn commission once made permanent employee of Apex Supply Company *Benefit Conditions* · Eligible once permanent employee · Waiting period applies Job Type: Full-time Pay: $16.
