_ *JOB SUMMARY |* Floral merchandisers represent our company and our products at a store level.
They are responsible for visiting our customer’s locations, checking product quality and display compliance with planograms, and completing customer reports.
Merchandisers may be required to access cold storage areas and bring products up to display areas.
They may also be required to assist in new store openings.
The ideal candidate has an eye for detail and works well under minimal supervision.
*JOB REQUIREMENTS |* Floral merchandiser requirements and responsibilities include the following: * _Must be able to travel distances of up to 5 hours driving.
_ * _Must have valid driver’s license in good standing.
_ * _Must be able to work on their feet, moving about.
_ * _Must be able to lift to 25 lbs.
(at times)_ * _Must not be allergic to floral materials or foliage.
_ * _Must have the ability to follow a plan-o-gram.
_ * _Must exhibit attention to detail when handling product.
_ * _Must be a self-starter who is able to work efficiently under minimal supervision.
_ * _Punctuality and dependability extremely important_ * _Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule, working OT during floral holidays.
_ * _Must be able to communicate effectively with supervisor(s)_ * _Must follow safety protocol at all times.
_ *ADDITIONAL DESIRED SKILLS |* _A plus for candidate, but not required: _ * _Experience supporting a field sales organization is highly preferred.
_ * _Previous floral industry experience is a plus, but not required.
_ * _Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus, but not required.
