Responsibilities: Assists with daily operations of UTHET Tyler Gift shop in creating an inviting gift shop atmosphere for UTHET visitors, patients and employees.
Responsible for opening and closing gift shop on designated days and times.
Practices excellent customer service with gift shop customers, employees, volunteers and visitors.
Responsible for receiving, pricing and stocking of gift shop merchandise.
Arranges and designs merchandise display including magazines.
Conducts inventory of merchandise stock.
Assists in preparing floral designs.
Assists with selection of gift shop merchandise as needed.
Supervises gift shop employees and volunteers.
Qualifications: Job Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Preferred Job Requirements: Two to three years’ retail experience Customer service Floral design Cash handling / cash register experience
