Hand fed Sun Conure, 4 months old and weaned.
Have hand fed since the first day they hatched, this bird has not known anything else but the human hand, well .

and 2 house cats.
I'm looking for my forever home and am hoping for someone that will let me hang out with them, cuddle or ride on your shoulder at least a couple of times through the day.
I'm loving with a great attitude and I'm pretty independent and play by myself for hours and I love when my nanny puts me on a play stand while she is watching a movie or on her computer.
When I fly off my play stand and try to go back to my cage I don't quite make it cause my wings are clipped for my safety, and my nanny help's me to my cage and she gives me kisses before putting me back in.
Did I tell you I love to give kisses if you let me!
I LOVE TOYS!!!! I LOVE BATHS TOO, EVERY DAY, that is as long as my water is clean!
My nanny laughs out-loud while she watch's me play, she says I'm extremely amusing and a natural at doing all kind of tricks, even ones she's never seen before!
People sometimes call me noisy but really, I have not seen you all day and I hear you come in, so I call to you.
Also when you get up in the mornings I'm so excited to hear you that I call out a greeting.
If my food is low or my waters dirty where I can't drink or take a bath, I call out, or if I would like to get out and be with you, I call out asking for you to come get me.
Mostly I play happily in my cage and just jabber quietly while playing with my wiffle balls, swings, plastic rings or chewing on my wooden toy's.
If you are pretty sure you have the patience and time in your heart for me to be a part of your family, I'm also waiting for you!
Sun Conure's live 20-30 years on average.
their cage needs to be a minimum size of 30"x21"x14" deep.
They do require several toys because they are very active and intelligent and there toys will have to be changed out and exchanged every few weeks.
Play stands will help a lot and please have some toy's, water and food available for them.
Patient and Positive interaction is very important for these birds, because of their intelligence they remember everything.
The more trusting of the relationship, the more calm and obedient they will be.
If you don't have patience, this is not the bird for you.
I use Aspen wood bedding for the bottom of the cage, this bird plays on it's back with wiffle balls, and wood pieces.
The bedding can be bought at Walmart for 9.
58 for 5 cu ft, this will last a long time.
There is a re-homing fee of 600.
00, if you believe you have the patience, love and time, please email me and I will get back with you.
Thank you and have a Blessed week!
