com Position Overview: Project Manager 3 is a critical role in managing and overseeing large-scale and high-impact enterprise projects.
Your primary responsibility will be to ensure successful project delivery aligned with business objectives, utilizing advanced project management methodologies and strategies.
This role demands a high level of expertise, leadership, and an ability to navigate complex business and technology landscapes with efficiency and precision and to develop comprehensive project plans and strategies to achieve business goals.
Key Responsibilities: Manages the scope of multiple large, complex, cross functional projects.
Partners with technology and business partners to align technology and business scope.
Ensures a change control process is followed for scope changes.
Effectively handles intricate multi-vendor relationships.
Mitigates potential conflicts concurrent projects in the portfolio, manages multiple interdependencies.
Leads project teams of matrixed resources internal and external to the company.
Creates and maintains integrated project schedule; understands schedule risks and drives contingency planning with the leadership team.
Anticipates issues and risks implementing preventative measures to avoid them.
Leads project teams to identify issues, and risks, actively manages open risks and issues to resolution.
Develops and manages project budgets, Capital, Expense, SaaS Expense; manages project financials according to Company’s processes.
Technical Complexity: Handle projects with a high level of technical sophistication and complexity that involve new technologies, intricate systems, and complex technical solutions.
Enterprise Complexity: Handles projects with a high level of business sophistication and complexity that involve complex business process, intricate systems, and significant business challenges.
Leads project team meetings, prepares and communicates steering, governance, and stakeholder materials.
Frequently collects project data to confirm project status, communicates project status with the appropriate sense of urgency.
Responsible for ensuring IT projects align with the overall strategic goals of the organization; translates high-level strategy into actionable project initiatives.
Accountable for oversight of the entire project; including managing interdependencies, resource allocation, and performance.
Provides regular updates and reports to senior executives.
As necessary, partners across business and IT to ensure compliance with industry regulations is built into the scope of the project.
Demonstrates advanced proficiency in project leadership; appropriately applies delivery framework and SDLC to projects.
Understands the complexity and interdependencies of their project within the greater portfolio of projects.
Uses professional project management concepts, company policies and procedures, and personal leadership to drive business outcomes.
Education, Experience and Qualifications: 7+ years of increasingly complex project management experience.
7+ years of information technology or business work experience.
BA/BS or equivalent work experience.
MBA or equivalent work experience.
Project management industry best practice certifications: for example, Scaled Agile Scrum Master, PMI PMP, ACP or equivalent work experience.
Advanced information technology and business knowledge.
Advanced understanding of agile and waterfall SDLC.
Communicates effectively with all levels of management.
Works collaboratively with IT and business partners to anticipate and resolve issues.
Has the ability to be versatile, analytical, and thorough while quickly adapting to change.
Possess advanced problem-solving skills.
Sees the big picture while maintaining attention to detail.
