Summary:
The Patient Access Representative Lead position plays an important role in guiding the team members, motivating them to stay focused and achieving various goals.
The job duties will include current Patient Access Representative duties and will also include being the point of contact for information distribution, common day-to-day operational issues (i.
e.
: schedule changes), resource person, authorized to take care of issues if supervisor is not available, admitting reporting (i.
e.
: pre with charges, connance, collections, unbilled report, etc.
), and attend some meetings.
Responsibilities:
The team leader will perform current duties as a Patient Access Rep and perform additional duties as assigned.
The team leader must be impartial and motivate the team to perform at it's best.
The team leader must encourage the team members to help each other and be a mentor to other team members.
The team leader must also take initiative of bringing the team members closer.
The team leader is the face of very team as well as the organization.
The team leader must encourage the team to meet collection, productivity, and patient satisfaction goals.
