You must possess a high school diploma or it's equivalent, pass a background check, verbal and written communication skills/organizational skills, be socially perceptive, a critical thinker, dependable, possess the ability to maintain composure and keep emotions, in check during stressful situations, flexible and adaptable.
Responsibilities include:
Plan and implement activities and opportunities that encourage children's curiosity, exploration and problem solving
Provide age-appropriate activities
Develop and execute lesson plans
Plan and prepare classroom setting
Oversee Safety
Supervise children in the classroom and outdoors
Provide a supportive environment where children can learn and practice appropriate behaviors
Interact with parents and maintain open and cooperative communication
