MRO Inventory Control Manager Role

The MRO Inventory Control Manager is responsible for optimizing MRO parts inventory by monitoring historical usage and defining optimum min/max levels for all JSF's plants.
This role is also responsible for developing, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and agreements for maintenance parts and service contracts.
Key job responsibilities: · Develop and implement inventory control procedures to ensure accurate and efficient management of MRO materials.
Analyze inventory data to identify trends and make recommendations for process improvements.
· Work closely with the plant maintenance and operations teams to understand their needs and ensure that inventory levels meet requirements.
· Manage the disposal of obsolete or surplus inventory in accordance with company policies and procedures.
· Prepare reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and other key metrics for management review.
· Stock Turn Ratio – Determine stock turn ratio for all 3 plants and improve STR to 2.
0 or more through evaluating obsolete inventory and accurate min/max levels.
· Monitoring and managing inventory levels of MRO items to ensure that there are adequate supplies to support ongoing operations without excessive overstock.
· Identifying and selecting suppliers for maintenance, repair, and operations goods and services.
This involves negotiating prices, terms, and agreements.
Qualifications: · Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
· 5+ years of experience in inventory management, preferably in an MRO environment.
· Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to make informed decisions.
· Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Proficiency in inventory management and CMMS software.
