Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the Director of Pharmacy, manager daily activities thorough direct supervision to provide optimal pharmaceutical care
Design and implement a schedule according to policies and procedures in order to maintain adequate staffing
Provide training and education to staff including technician training and IV certification
Facilitate and/or serve on committees as requested to represent the organization professional affiliations
Review all departmental policies and procedures by integrating them into the system ensuring compliance and communication
Provide good customer service by utilizing good communication skills and technical knowledge to ensure UTHET and departmental objectives are maintained
Perform related accountabilities/responsibilities as required or directed
Qualifications:
Job Requirements:
BS or PharmD from an accredited school of Pharmacy
Two (2) years staff pharmacist and one (1) year management experience, or
Four (4) years staff pharmacist
Licensure from Texas State Board of Pharmacy and evidence of annual renewal
