Looking to help out part time on a farm, ranch, or a hobby farm within 30 minutes of Carthage.
I am retired and working this type of work has been great therapy for me.
I have relocated here from Florida and miss the 2 cattle farms I help out on for my friends and the state park on which I volunteered.
I have done this for years for friends and others in need or just to enjoy.
The two farms back home were one owned by an elderly friend with major health issues and with around 100 cows, the other was a friend my age who is a RN, which was pulling him away too much, and then he had a stroke.
I still help on both farms when I return to Florida on visits.
I can ride a horse (has been a while), I can work cattle and almost all other animals.
I can run tractors and other equipment.
I have worked nearly every aspect of building houses, fences, barns, sheds, decks, etc, etc.
I am honest, no thief, and have no criminal record.
I am 57 years old, clean and friendly.
Due to health issues I am not the man I once was, but nothing that would stop me from doing this work.
My real hope is to find someone who is in NEED temporarily or permanently.
